Buttocks Lift
Why?
Cosmetic buttock surgery takes place when the volume of the buttocks is fairly developed but there is an excessive amount of skin. Gluteal fold surgery can be combined with liposculpture on the neighbouring areas, and possibly with buttock augmentation.
The Intervention
Cosmetic buttock surgery takes approximately two hours and is performed under general anaesthesia. It primarily consists of removing the excess skin, and of reshaping the contour of the bottom.
Results and Post-Operative Treatment
The patient can return home on the day of the operation.
The buttocks remain swollen and bruises can appear.
This intervention will leave, as the case may be, an imperceptible scar in the small of the back or in the gluteal fold. Cosmetic buttock surgery scars fade in the course of a year.
